Antique Brass/Bronze Kum Kum box Angelpoise This is a Hadeland VaseTraditionally, these little boxes were used to store Kum Kum, a red powder used on Indian Hindu womens foreheads. The little compartment would typically contain a red powder, or sometimes other colours too, and is small enough for the right ring finger to dip in so that the tip of the finger is covered in powder.
